I want an aquatic themed sleeve so bad!
Last year I went to Arizona to shoot a wedding. While I was there I got, what turned out to be, a not so great tattoo of a lighthouse and the lyrics: No I am not where I belong, shine a light to guide me home. I always wanted it re-done. A couple days ago I finally made that dream come true.
Done by Tom Carroll of Rabbits Den Tattoo Parlor in Milltown, NJ. I am absolutely in love with this and I cannot believe it is a part of me. It is on my right thigh, still a little swollen in this picture. 11 inches from top to bottom, about 7 inches across. Took over 4 hours, one setting.
I love City and Colour and these lyrics mean a lot to me.
So sick.
Tattoo number five. Beginning of my nautical sleeve. Always been amazed by the sea and it’s great unknown.
Ballin.
i am too embarrassed to go anywhere by myself ugh what is wrong with me
I’ll go with you wherever you want.
got it done on the 18th at sacred addition in east bridgewater, mass. my second tattoo by Zane Pendergast because he’s so damn good. i’ve been wanting an anchor tattoo for a very long time because of how obsessed i am with almost all things nautical or having to to with the ocean. plan on having quite a few more with the theme. also, the words in the banner are “hope is all we have left” from “I Am the Wind, You Are the Feather” by Vanna. there are so many reasons for the entire piece, but simply, these things are some of the few in life that make me happy.
Simple but cool none the less.
This was my third tattoo. Octopus on the hand. The finger were not fun. and i went back for another session to get the finger touched up. I got this done at Phat Dragon Tattoos in Wrightsville, PA. Done by Jesse. This guy is the man.
So sick.
